The Coromandel Smoking Co. was established in 1997 to produce a range of smoked seafood.
In 2004 we joined forces with local farmers of oysters and mussels to bring our customers a fresh range of products grown in the unspoiled waters of the Coromandel.
Today we still use the methods and techniques from the first days of the Coromandel Smoking Co. We continue to smoke our products on a daily basis, to customer orders, using only natural manuka.
Our fresh products are selected for harvesting and packed on the same day to give our customers the finest quality product possible.
Our products are available online from our deli
All our fish and mussels are smoked on a daily basis to order. We have a range of cut and pre packed product for retail customers and whole fillets (skinned and boned) or sides of fish for our wholesale customers.
Our Pacific Oysters are selected for harvesting on a daily basis and can be purchased in either pottles (no shell) or ½ shell format.
Our mussels are lighted steamed for opening and then either
• packed as they are (a' la naturale)
• mixed with one our delicious sauces
• marinated in one of our traditional flavours
Mussels can also be purchase whole ready for the pot or BBQ.
